This is one of a series of posts covering aspects of the Wraparound Terrace Suite.

My room number 1745 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is located on the southeast corner of the Eastside Tower. It offers a view of Las Vegas Boulevard but also a view of the Boulevard Pool.  Since the pool was part of the view from my room, this post covers the terrace of the Wraparound Terrace Suite and the Boulevard Pool.

THE TERRACE OF THE WRAPAROUND SUITE
The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas offers 247 Wraparound Terrace Suites located on each floor of its two towers. In the Eastside Tower, these suites are located at the corners of each floor. The spacious terrace  of these rooms measures 490 square feet which is equal to to the space of most standard hotel rooms.

As soon as I checked into my room last night and after I awoke this morning I couldn't help but to step outside on to the private terrace to soak in the view. Generous size furniture with ottomans and side tables invites guests to relax and heavy duty pillows add to the comfort but are sturdy to avoid being swept away by the Las Vegas desert wind.

One advantage of having a corner suite is one side of the terrace is likely shaded and therefore a few degrees cooler when the other side is facing the sun. Glass panels along the railing adds to the spacious feeling of the terrace. The Wraparound Suites offers three sliding glass door to access the terrace, one from the bedroom and two from the living area.

By the way don't forget to pack a pair of flip flops. It's the perfect footwear for when the concrete of the terrace heats up. Housekeeping appears to keep the terrace furniture clean and neat.

Generous sized and comfy furniture line each corner of the wraparound terrace.

Despite having part of the panoramic view of this 17th floor Wraparound Terrace Suite obstructed by the massive Marquee Nightclub building, this terrace at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas offered some spectacular views in other directions.

Along Las Vegas Boulevard the terrace offers postcard views of the Paris Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood resorts. The entire length of the hotel's Boulevard Pool is only a couple of floors below. When the venue is used for concerts, this terrace offers an obstructed view. This terrace also offers a prime view of the Cosmopolitan marquee which besides advertising the resort displays a rotating selection of video art.

During my three night stay, stepping out on to the terrace became a regular thing to do each time I returned to the room.

Using the zoom on my camera, I can get a fantastic view of the of the

From my 17th floor Wraparound Terrace Suite I got a close-up view of the Cosmopolitan's Boulevard Pool located on the hotel's East Deck along with its faux palm trees. Hotel guests using the cabanas along Las Vegas Boulevard likely have some awesome view of the Strip.

The pool is accessed from the hotel's Level 4 and located beside the Eastside Tower. Hours of operation is daily from 8am to 8pm. Don't be surprised that after eight, the pool is turned into a concert venue of outdoor movie theater.

The Overlook Grill is poolside for those wanting to grab a meal before or after a pool experience. Those needing some basics for their day in the water and the sun should find them at the hotel's pool located at the pool entrance. Three onsite bars are ready to serve your poolside drink.

BAMBOO POOL
Where the Boulevard Pool is accessed conveniently by guests staying at the Cosmopolitan's Eastside Tower, guest staying at the hotel's West End Tower have another pool easily accessed from their elevators.

Located on Floor 14 of the West End Tower, the Bamboo Pool is serviced by two bars and located near the hotel tennis courts, Violet Hair Salon and Sahra Spa & Hammam. The pool faces Harmon Avenue and faces the buildings of City Center.

The pool hours is 8am to 8pm daily. For additional pool information and cabana reservations, contact resort services at 702-698-7771 or ResortServices@cosmopolitanlasvegas.com.
